The Coaguchek Plus System, is a battery-powered, portable laser photometer that uses a phospholipid (soybean phosphatide) and an activator of intrinsic coagulation (bovine brain sulfatide) to determine the aPTT. Microliter samples of either capillary, arterial, or venous whole blood can be used.
